Visiting any church for the very first time can be a tough experience. Well, we want to put you at ease. Your first visit to Temple Baptist will be refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable for your whole family. We want you to experience inspiring music, helpful teaching and preaching, friendly people, and a place where you feel welcome and "at home"! Here are a few answers to your questions and what you might expect on your first visit. |

| When are your services? |
|
We have Sunday School each week at 9:00am with our Morning service immediately following it at 10:00am. The Sunday evening service begins at 5:30pm. Each Wednesday evening during the school year our teens meet for Teen TIme, and those 2 years old through 6th grade meet for AWANAs at 7:00pm, while the adults meet for prayer meeting at 7:15pm. During the summer we all meet together at 7:15pm. |

| What can I expect on my first visit? |
|
Our main entrance is on Drainesville Rd. and you'll recognize it by the sign. Visitor parking is located to your right as you drive into our parking lot, and one of our hospitality greeters will meet you and direct you to the right classes and services as soon as you walk in the door. They can also answer other questions you may have.
Most adults attend our worship service where they enjoy the beautiful and inspiring music of the choir, orchestra, ensembles, and soloists. The music is always followed by a clear, helpful, and challenging Bible message from Pastor David Pittman. This service is a little over one hour in length. Also, at 9:00am there are Sunday School Classes. These classes are smaller group settings where you are invited to meet people, and hear a teaching lesson more directly applicable to your life-stage. The best way to get to know people at Temple Baptist Church is to visit one of these adult Sunday School classes. |

| What about my children? |
|
Starting with excellent nurseries, there is something special for every age child. At every service there are safe, clean, and highly staffed nurseries for children three years old and under. For the infants, mothers will receive a pager so that the nursery attendants can easily contact you if there is a need. For children four years old through sixth grade there are fun, friendly, and Bible-centered classes. These classes are staffed with trained, friendly, and well-qualified teachers and helpers who will make church exciting and memorable for your child.
One of our greetersor ushers will gladly help direct and even escort you to the right place. |
